You'll be working as part of teams managing projects that will make a difference to our planet through the visioning and delivery of aspirational landscapes. You'll get the opportunity to design all kinds of spaces from civic squares and urban realm to country parks, play spaces and new woodland.
No two days are the same at BMD, so expect to get involved in a combination of design work, analysis, debating of ideas, site inspections and technical solutions, community consultation, woodland planting days, design charettes and much more, all of which can be used to bolster and support your Continuing Professional Development and your advancement on the Pathway to Chartership.
Senior LVIA Specialist
We're looking for an experienced Senior Specialist in Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) to join our growing Landscape Planning team. You'll work on strategic-scale, residential-led masterplans and nationally significant projects, combining technical expertise with a design-led approach to landscape assessment. This is an excellent opportunity to lead and contribute to appraisals, reviews and reports, support a talented team, and help shape the future of Landscape Planning at BMD.

Senior or Associate Landscape Architect
As Senior or Associate Landscape Architect you will take a lead, manage resource, and work directly on a variety of projects at all scales and of varying complexity. Project work will range from high profile strategic residential and urban regeneration schemes through to detailed public realm design. Strong design skills are essential for this role as well as the ability to demonstrate solid experience of running projects through all work stages.
Project Landscape Architect
As Project Landscape Architect you will work on a variety of live projects at all scales and varying complexity, supporting your team on larger project work and running your own smaller projects with plenty of opportunity to get involved in all stages of project work from concept through to completion.
Graduate/Assistant Landscape Architect
As Graduate/Assistant Landscape Architect you will be tutored and supported to be able to provide technical support to our Project and Senior Landscape Architects. You’ll be self motivated, excited to learn, organised and interested in what landscape architecture can do for our planet and our communities.
